First step in verifying that your config is valid is to use the following command considering :
- If ecelerity is running: /opt/msys/ecelerity/bin/ec_console shim://
(If this gets to the password prompt, then the syntax of the configuration and lua is good, ctrl c will break out of the console)
- If ecelerity is not running: opt/msys/ecelerity/bin/config_shim_wrapper
(If you get to this entry "auth_state=0 user=(null)" then the syntax of the config and lua is good, ctrl c will break out of this).
From here any issues with configuration could be as simple as invalid characters in the configuration, any files that were edited in a non linux environment will need to be opened in a text editor and copy and pasted into a linux file.
If this fails, then reviewing the /var/log/ecelerity/paniclog.ec would be advisable, as if an upgrade has occurred in the interim between creating the conf, then it's possible that some custom modules or other aspects of the system have been moved into the core.
